I took my 2006 Ford F-250 in for a front brake issue. Had a strange experience after driving some 800 miles when my front caliper seemed to stick engaged while in very slow stop and go traffic. I was able to get my truck to Scotts Valley Trans. & Auto Care after some very strong referrals from local friends in Scotts Valley. They got the truck in on short notice, diagnosed the possible problems and gave me options for repair. The truck was there one full day and ready by lunch the next day with new front brake calipers, pads, re-surfaced rotors...can’t beat that. I have a 2001 Super duty 7.3 diesel that is still going strong thanks to Scotts Valley Transmission. I’ve been going to the them for all my transmission needs and motor work since I bought the truck in 2003. The whole team is friendly and very knowledgeable. We walked inside asking about a flashing "D" and within five minutes we were given possibilities of the situation. We got an appointment within two days and had a call within an hour telling us what was found. They asked permission to do the work which was done very promptly. We will not hesitate to take our car to SV Transmission if the need arises. Very pleasant and outgoing personnel.
